Addressing people at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf rally in Sargodha on Friday, Sh Rashid said that some people were of the view that this movement enjoyed the support of army. "I want to say that Nawaz Sharif is the product of Gate No 4 of GHQ," he added. "Imran Khan has only one slogan for Nawaz Sharif. Either he will lay down his life or he will get Nawaz Sharif's resignation," Rashid said, adding that the PTI chief would give a call for shutter-down and wheel-jam strikes after Moharram.

He harshly criticised Pakistan People's Party Co-Chairman Asif Zardari, saying that the man who once indulged in black-marketing of cinema tickets had nothing to do with the masses. "I had been saying for the last six years that Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari are the two sides of the same coin. Both are an insurance policy for each other," he added.

He challenged Nawaz Sharif to a live debate. Rashid alleged that Khawaja Asif received commission in Tarbela project. "PML-N leadership is in disarray due to sit-ins. Shahbaz Sharif and Nawaz Sharif are not on the same page," he claimed. He also came down hard on Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman. He claimed that there was a rift within PML-N in Punjab. He asked Nawaz Sharif to explain why he had not deputed a deserving ambassador in Qatar and why a banker post4ed there.
